The UWA Marching Band

The UWA Band Students are able to have an involvement in most details concerning the band. The Band Leaders help to improve the program through the Band Council and their roles as section leaders.

The UWA Band currently has 91 members.

The Stars of Alabama and the Tigerguard both have 12 members and the Tigerettes have 3 members.

The percussion sections "Catalyst" and "The Pit" set the beat for the UWA Band.

The UWA Band is like no other band. We work hard, have fun and put on a great show. Most band members would say we are a family. We do just about everything together. We work, eat, study and hang out together. So if you are looking for a band program that your not just a number, come be part of the tradition at The University of West Alabama.
